Torres del Paine National Park, Chile

Torres del Paine National Park (Spanish: Parque Nacional Torres del Paine) is a national park covering mountains, glaciers, lakes and rivers in southern Chilean Patagonia. Cordillera del Paine is the center of the park. It is located in a transitional area between the Magellanic sub-polar forests and the Patagonian steppes. The park is located 112 km (70 mi) north of Puerto Natales and 312 km (194 mi) north of Punta Arenas. The park borders Bernardo O'Higgins National Park to the west and Los Glaciares National Park to the north on Argentine territory. Paine means "blue" in the native Tehuelche (Aonikenk) language, pronounced PIE-neh, and Torres means "towers." It was established as a national park in 1959.

Torres del Paine National Park is part of the Sistema Nacional de Áreas Silvestres Protegidas del Estado de Chile (National System of Protected Forest Areas of Chile). In 2013, it was about 181,414 hectares (700 sq mi). It is one of the largest and most visited parks in Chile. The park receives an average of 252,000 visitors per year, of which 54% are foreign tourists, coming from many countries around the world. It is also part of the End of the World Route, a tourist scenic route.

 Bagan, Myanmar

Bagan is an ancient city in the Mandalay Region of Myanmar and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the 9th to the 13th century, the city was the capital of the Bagan Kingdom, the first kingdom to unite the territories that later formed Myanmar. During the kingdom's heyday between the 11th and 13th centuries, more than 10,000 Buddhist temples, pagodas and monasteries were built on the Bagan plains alone, of which the ruins of over 2,200 temples and pagodas remain. Bagan Archaeological Zone is a major attraction in the country's new tourism industry.
